Pope's Mulch, Dirt, Sand, and Gravel

Update: when we got the mulch home. It was infested with bugs and fungus. This experience still leaves a bad taste in my mouth and is a story that will be remembered and told for a lifetime. Was greeted by a man walking out of a sketchy house wearing no shirt.... and gym shorts hanging below his waist with the crack of his bottom exposed. We were unaware of the total cost and was charged for 133.00 for a trailer load. Of course, there are No refunds....Highly disappointed.We came here because it was the only place open on a Sunday. We WILL NOT use this place ever again. We will simply wait till Monday to get mulch from a more credible place.

I have purchased dirt from Pope's before and was happy with the quality, price and friendly service. We had an above ground pool installed and Pope's came out and filled-in around our pool. They did a great job. We were in a time crunch, because we had a final pool inspection coming up the next day. They came out on short notice and worked until it got dark. I don't know many businesses who would do that.

Really disrespectful guy, don’t waste your time here just go down the street to rock place, rock place has afordable prices, this guy is charging to much for the little he gives us

If you need mulch, dirt or sand this is the place to go. Friendly service. They also offer bulldozing services (pond digging, erosion correction). Knowledgeable staff at an affordable price.

Rip Off......$18 for a 1/4 scoop. Mulch is full of clumps of dirt. Guy is shady. Go to the Rock Place........better quality, better service and better price. You actually get what you pay for!
