Gravel Shop

Ordered a truckload of flex base. Exactly the same order that I had delivered two times before. They sent me a quote for a third truckload. The price went up but I still paid for no question asked. They called me on the day that that the promised to deliver it and asked me for more money because they could not find any one to deliver it at the price they promised me in the quote. I told them that they sent me the quote and I paid the quote without fuss and instead of delivering on their promise that canceled the order. Apparently prices went up on them and then they crawfished on their promise because they did a poor job estimating the same exact order that they delivered two times prior. Do your self a favor and go with someone more local and cut out the retailer.

While the ordering process was straightforward, a subsequent confirmation was needed to approve a change in the limestone type, which I authorized. Upon delivery, I discovered that the provider's invoice for the order was 25% less (a $150 difference) than what The Gravel Shop had charged me. When I contacted The Gravel Shop about this discrepancy, they refused to issue a partial refund. Based on this experience, I strongly advise considering contacting material providers directly to potentially save money.

Placed the order Monday for a Friday delivery (today 5/9/25). They take my money and confirmed the delivery with instructions. 5:30pm now with no gravel. Contact them and they said they cannot get a hold of the company who is delivering the gravel. I have to wait til Monday to find out why it was not delivered!!! I needed the gravel this weekend for a reason. Now I can’t get my refund until they contact the company who is delivering the gravel. Order your gravel somewhere else. I am a business owner so I know the importance of being on time and delivering on your end of the deal. This company has poor communication and unreliable. Good luck

The biggest problem is getting your product. They've changed the delivery on me twice. I'm a returning customer and they didn't even offer any type of compensation. I ordered it back on 5/3 and it's 5/12. Now they're telling me I'll have it by 5/14.... Not bad for the middle man company...

Very easy to order, pay and set up delivery. Very good prices too. Ordered 7 tons. My delivery was between 8am and 12pm and the driver arrived at 8am. Will definitely order from them again. Thanks.
