I go both ways on the customer service, sometimes it is better than a typical Home Depot, other times they can’t seem to be bothered. But it is still better than than the other local choices for products although do not expect a lower 48 builders supply. They may not have a selection of what your looking for but the is usually one item that will work or you may have to come up with a workaround. Prices are what you should expect for an Alaskan Island where things come in by barge. There is a cabinet section but I have never seen anyone working that area, customer service is to the right and back aways. The isles are well lit and clean.

Great customer service. As soon as staff spots you looking confused, they offer help. They let you know when the next shipment is coming in amd how many are in it. SBS will spectal order for you.

Lady working here didn't know what a hex key was and asked for a picture. You'll have a tough time finding a hardware store that hires less knowledgeable salespeople.

Absolutely awful customer service. Just the worst. The only reason they stay in business is, they are the only game in town. This is not from just one or two visits. Unfortunately I've had to try to purchase things at this place more than once. Employees just won't put any effort into helping you.
