CGI Excavating

So I waited a while to write a review to see how it holds after a year. I ordered a load for my garden and was told it was black dirt but it's not.....I've been gardening for many years with many different types of soil and this is not it. At first it was great, nice and soft and easy to work with but even 1 months in it turned rock hard and does not soak up water. I don't know if it's mixed with concrete or sand but I've never had this happen before with black dirt, so if you plan on using for gardening I would look elsewhere.

I recently hired CGI to put in a 16x28 pool pad. I was incredibly impressed throughout the process with the professionalism and thoroughness. Rebecca was great as she answered all my question via email and over the phone during the planning phase and once we approached the day of the project. She got all the details right and coordinated the locate services to ensure everything was safe. On the day of the project Travis was also happy to answer this novices questions and walk me through the process. Travis did an absolutely great job. He is very thorough and it’s obvious he likes what he does. I couldn’t be happier with the service and performance throughout this process. They knocked it out of the park and I can’t wait until my next opportunity to work with them again!!

Very impressed with the quality of black dirt and the service from Rebecca and the delivery driver. Tried CGI after ordering from competitors who delivered "black dirt" that included rocks, glass and an old shoe sole. Looked like fill from an old gravel pit. Will be using CGI for all my landscaping projects.

I recently ordered four loads of black dirt from CGI. The truck driver was very professional and worked quickly until 8pm to get all of the dirt delivered ahead of the rain. Thanks again for the great dirt, I will use you again!
