Tigard Sand & Gravel LLC(CB-13)

This place has been wonderful since the start! first time there went to pick out some boulders, i was given a hard hat and vest to wear and got out with a TON of rocks for like 30 bucks. Been back many times for gravel and river rocks. Did have some delivered which was pricey but i also ordered different sizes which meant multiple trips. Will be back again and again and again.

Explained what we intended to do with a rock delivery. Employee explained two types of rock that sounded like a good fit for us. We decided on 1.5-4in rock. What we received upon delivery was MUCH larger. I called to explain and ask if there was anything that they could do. They basically said no, once it’s been delivered there is nothing they can do. They said that sometimes some bigger rocks sneak through and sometimes they can be a bit bigger than 4 inches. I said I can send photos of the large rock to show how much bigger than 4inches it is. I sent the photos. And they gave me $75 back. I ordered over $400 worth of rock. In the future I suggest that the staff be a bit more clear. If the rock is going to come between 1.5 inches - 10 inch size chunks, then say that to begin with. I’m not sure how 10inches sneaks through a 4in space ?

We have been buying rock from Tigard sand and gravel for a while now for the most part everything was good until the days that they don’t show up or they don’t communicate being 3, 4, 5 hours late. We are the type of business that appreciates a simple gesture when issues like this occur. If there’s a mistake of communication or Timelines then we expect companies to just show that they care Tigard gravel showed they do not care about our business and told us to kick rocks.
