High Desert Mulching

This place is the best. Accommodating, and they have their process down cold. You can get some stuff cheaper, but I wouldn't. They do it right, and unless you're buying 20 yds of Aspen gravel you'll be okay.

Terrific customer service. Our gravel and playground chips were delivered with absolutely no hassle. The office and driver worked with us to deliver in exactly where we needed the loads. Deliveries were available within a few days and always on time within the scheduled window. Good communication before deliver to let us know the truck was on the way.

These folks are so easy to work with, I need a small amount of a few different things and since they will sell you .5 yards of some things it was perfect. So much more cost effective then buying bags at the hardware store.

I've used them in the past and loved the service - this time it fell short. I give the two stars for the friendly service and help picking out a product. I ordered Central Oregon Compost - supposed to be screened at 3/4 inch for amending my soil before putting in grass seed. As you can see, the product delivered was very woody (the brown dirt is my original soil so I know I didn't have the wood there to start) and looks nothing like the product on the webpage. I didn't notice it right away because it was a huge pile in my yard and some of it was good. By the time I really figured it out, it was spread out so I had no choice but to try to use it. I spent a day raking out the biggest pieces - many wheelbarrow's full. Probably just a bad batch or the deliverer scooped the wrong material.

Got the product I ordered (9 yards soil) on time, great service department and the driver was on time and courteous. Fair priced as well. Will be going back to these guys annually, for all of my mulch/soil needs.
