I recently had a great experience with Whiz-Q. Their customer service is very good, and they were always ready to assist with my inquiries. They offer delivery at a reasonable cost, which is very convenient. One thing to note is their return policy, which includes a restocking fee of around 25%, but they make the process easy. A tip to avoid the restocking fee is to pick up only what you need and get refunded for the items you didn’t take. They also offer free self-pickup, which is a nice option if you want to save on delivery fees. Their prices are reasonable, and I found their product quality to be excellent. I also recommend picking up their brochure and the list of landscaping providers they work with, as it’s helpful for getting quotes and planning your project. Overall, Whiz-Q is a reliable place with great customer service, and I would recommend them for your landscaping needs. **prices change (10%-20%) frequently (my experience), so always check the current price before ordering. **Its wholesale place. No military, senior citizen or miscellaneous discounts.
I'm a builder and this is the first and last time I'll buy from this company. We always order 15% over to make sure the crew has the material to finish the job. I had to call them 5 times in 2 weeks to come and pick up the overage. We had 3 one-third pallets of different size stone and 5 bags of mortar. Pretty simple, right? After several calls to then they tell me, the customer that I need to go buy shrink wrap and wrap the pallets knowing that the driver carries shrink wrap on their truck and they'll charge another 175.00 pick up fee and a 20% restocking fee. They are quick to take your money but very difficult to get them to pick up a return and get a refund from. This may be an okay place for a homeowner but as builder never again! There's too many stone suppliers that are a lot better to do business with.
I went to Whiz-Q last week to purchase some flagstone & find a gravel mix like what we have in our backyard. I had no idea how this was going to work as I was using my personal car, so I went inside & spoke with a man behind the counter. He. Was. Awesome. He told me to weigh my car first, then where to go in the yard for the specific flagstone that I needed & that someone would meet me there to help load the pieces. I didn’t catch that young man’s name but he couldn’t have been nicer. 🪨🌲 Additionally, the young lady at the scales was super nice & helpful. She even directed me to the nearest (nice) gas station when I had to stop everything to go get gas. 🙄 Upon returning to finish up my rock shopping trip 🪨 I found the perfect gravel mix, weighed, paid & returned the next day for more. Everyone was friendly & the prices were very reasonable. I’ll be back. Thanks Whiz-Q! See you soon ~ Tammy
I've purchased over 50k lbs of materials from Whiz- Q the last few years & their product and service are first class . No project to big or small. Dejorn is very knowledgeable with materials & project scope & can get your material ready or delivered in a timely manner. It's nice to have a place with old fashion friendly customer service. Whiz is constantly updating materials and products for projects.
I've been trading with Whiz Q since it was a dinky, little pile of rocks at it's current location. The expansion over the last 25 years has created a rocky wonderland where I can find just about any type, size, color, and variety of rocks. Also, there's bulk compost, tools, and do-it-yourself projects. The place is busy, especially on weekends. Saturday finds food trucks on the property to help the customers pass the time. Patience and communication is the key to a wonderful visit to find just the right stones. The prices are usually the lowest I've found, and delivery can be set up for just about anything.
