Your only regret about Holland Mulch is that you didn’t find them sooner. Save money, reduce your plastic consumption, and support a local Newark business. In 2020 we called SOOO many places and did so much math trying to figure out the best bang for our buck for ALOT of mulch. Holland Mulch in Newark was the winner. I can only speak for the mulch and not the other services they offer. But I do plan on buying river rock from them by the bucket in the near future. We used the hardwood mulch the last two years, I think we did 50 or 60 cubic yards of it. This year we moved onto the Walnut dyed mulch another 10 cubic yards. The price is the best and the fact that I’m not stuffing my garbage and the landfill with dozens of plastic bags is even better. AND I’m supporting a local business and not a big box store. My son is in love with all kinds of trucks so we decided to go on a field trip to see where the dump truck of mulch comes from and we were not disappointed. The folks were just as kind in person as they are on the phone. They had all the different rocks and mulch displayed to compare each of them. I’ve never had a single problem with delivery. All but once we managed to get next day delivery and our projects take us forever so getting next day hasn’t ever been something we *needed*. They have always done a great job dumping the mulch exactly where we wanted it dumped. We’ve been so happy with the money saved and experience we have freely and willingly decked out our driveway to support this company. We’ve become known as the mulch people in our neighborhood because of our mountains we’ve gotten the last few years. I’m super grateful we found this gem in Newark for mulch. You will be too! And pro tip for parents, your kids will have an insane amount of fun with a mountain of mulch from digging in it, helping you with it and living on the wild side flying down it on trikes.

I don't buy mulch, but this place is an exceptional resource for buying various types of stone for landscaping projects. Great prices, great selection. Don't want to buy by the ton? No problem, you can fill your own 5 gallon buckets and buy by the bucket and it's still much cheaper than at the big box stores. I have used the stone here in landscaping and regrading and it is beautiful and has the physical properties I wanted. I love how you can pull up and they have display bins with every grade/type of stone for sale and you can examine and feel each one to decide exactly what you want. It's perfect. I highly recommend this place, and like others, I wish I had discovered it earlier.

Ordered gravel, delivered next day. Great customer service. Will be ordering top soil shortly - highly recommend!
