You’ve been delivering gravel and topsoil to me for about 15 years and it’s always been a great experience. Today I had the nicest man ever. Charles. Helped me spread the tarp and managed to get all that beautiful dirt on it. He was a really lovely experience at 8 am. The man smiles with his whole face. Besides being efficient and not running into any of the obstacles or power lines on my tiny street he is just the sweetest guy. Thanks!

If you want quality firewood you can look no further than Hafner and Sons. Driver was very courteous and on time and delivered a top quality product. My family and I were enjoying our fireplace all weekend long.

Careful ordering firewood off season. I ordered a half cord in February. They had to wait for some stock but they still delivered it very timely. Wood is consistent size/cut. About three quarters of it was pretty caked in dirt though. Saw some other logs with insect damage, though not a lot. I suspect this was due to the timing of my order but I would have appreciated at least being told of the condition before committing

Ordered Hafner's compost. Called and got their recipe: 1/3 leaves, 1/3 horse manure, 1/3 wood chips. They said they've grown things in it without evidence of persistent herbicide. Sounded good to me and the delivery fee was reasonable. They were able to deliver the very next day, which was great. Unfortunately the compost is clearly unfinished. It's just all of the ingredients shredded rather than composted. I'm sure it would make a decent mulch, but not a soil amendment. Going to need to let it continue to compost and cure several more months before it will be ready to use.

DO NOT BUY SOIL FROM HERE. The good reviews are from the previous business owners. They were bought this past winter and their quality has gone way down. I ordered their garden soil that is supposed to be 50% top soil, 30% aged horse manure, and 20% leaf mold and I'm pretty sure it was 90+% clay. I got ripped off and I won't be buying from here again.
