I can not say enough about The Stone Center and the wonderful people that work there. I am an homeowner and avid DIYer. Many times when you deal with companies used to contractors, as a homeowner (and woman) , you get a cold shoulder and are looked down on by the staff. You not worth their time. I never felt that way here. All the people we have dealt with at The Stone Center are great. The folks behind the desk. Amy is top notch when I had questions, helping me arrange delivery and more. Even the drivers dropping off pallet after pallet are really helpful. They moved pallets all over the place for us as we prepped for the job. Moved boulders close to their final spot. We did a huge backyard remodel which involved over 500’ of stacked stone walls, several patios, level changes with stairs and landing, pointless fountain, dry creek beds, accent boulders and raised planter beds. There was also a new deck in the mix. It has taken 2 years to be nearly finished. And still not quite done. We have ordered a variety of different stone, flagging, boulders , Belgian block , c57, chapel hill gravel , natural stone stair treads. I search all over the RTP area, Apex and north of Chapel Hill. The selection, availability of materials, price and service was best at Stone Center. And if you are a bargain hunter like I am, you will like the discard / left overs area. Everything is deeply discounted. I was able to buy a lot of what I needed for the more unusual project there. And with some creativity, I built a wall with wrought iron gate to the backyard. A patio with a geometric stone pattern. And another patio with a spiral of moss running through the middle of the flagging. I truly could not have done this without The Stone Center.

Amy Corsi, manager at the Stone center exceeded my expectations when it came to fixing a mistake. I would work with and will continue to buy from the Stone Center due to their customer service, and especially Amy. She went above and beyond fixing the problem and has a great personality. Highly recommended if you are looking for a materials place like the Stone Center.

100% the best place to get materials for your landscaping projects. The staff spends the time to talk to you about each of their products and how to incorporate them for the look you want. I worked with Zak on getting mulch, flagstone, river rock, and boulders. Couldn’t be happier with the process from start to end. Thanks to Zak and the whole team making this an awesome experience at a great price!

I have been using the Stone Center of Carolina at Durham for several years now for a wide variety of projects (see pics!). I'm not a Pro, but an avid DIYer who appreciates the time that the staff (most recently Zak, but they are all awesome to work with) is willing to spend to address questions and design considerations. All of the folks that I've worked with over the years have been professional, very knowledgeable and overall just very nice people. On top of all of that, their selection and prices are the best in the area (I've checked... many times). I highly recommend.

Thankful for the Stone Center. We were able to pick up quality boulders and rocks to finish off our son’s pond and waterfall. The Staff were super friendly and always ready to help. Strong young men that have a good work ethic and personality. This is our Stone yard for as long as they are here!
