We have bought firewood from here twice. The first time, we bought 1/8th of a cord, and everything was fine. A couple weeks later, we bought 1/4th of a cord, and the wood will not stay lit. Moisture is coming out the ends of the wood when we try to have a fire (picture included). I called the nursery to share my concerns and was told they have never had any complaints about their wood. Do not recommend purchasing firewood here.
I really like exploring this nursery every spring, when we're getting in the yard and fluffing everything up after an old, dreary winter! Great selection of statues and fountains! If you're looking for something new and pretty to add to your yard, this place is worth a trip to look around. Supporting small business, too!
The lady who was there was an absolutely wonderful person! We went to find plants to grow in a small terrarium and she got so excited to hear about our small project! "OHH!!! It's for the FAIRIES! 🧚♂️" and was so pleased to be able to give us some weeds that were growing in the pots of other plants! We might not have bought anything but the whole experience was so sweet and very pleasant 😊💗 There's a high chance that we will be returning!
Wonderful to work with from the lady in the office to the workers and the owner. They prepared the ground and laid the sod in early April 2018, applied nutrients, gave instructions and were finished in no time. Now, four months later my El Toro Zoysiagrass is so lush and beautiful. It's been this way since green up and my first cut in May. All my neighbors have to ask and notice. I am so proud of my lawn and I thank Giaroli's with all my heart!
They came and laid dormant sod in March. Some of it looked iffy to me and they said they would replace what was dead. Then spring arrived and it was obvious that at least 25% of my lawn was dead. It took three calls from May to end of July until they finally came out and replace about twenty pieces. No prep, just tore up the old and slapped down the new (which doesn't look much better) and still left tons of bald/dead spots. This is the worst lawn service I've ever had And they charged me 3k for this crappy lawn.
