Sango Pool & Spa

We started planning for our pool project in August, and by October our pool was completed and our kids were jumping in before it got too cold. We couldn't be happier we chose Sango Pool & Spa for the install, as well as our retaining walls. They listened to what we wanted and followed through as best they could with a yard that wasn't easy to work with. Paul, Lisa, Sammy and others have been communicative and helpful and held our hand through each phase. Everything was on time and the one big thing that set us over budget was wanting more concrete on each side. The team did a fantastic job and we would recommend them to anyone who's looking for a professional and timely pool install! We can't wait for next summer already.

Okay, to be right up front: this is 100% a review of the landscaping stone business adjacent to/somehow part of Sango Pool & Spa (couldn’t find a separate website). We don’t have a pool or spa. We DO have a really terrible front yard space that gets too much sun so gets totally crispy and brown. Heading in direction of native plantings that can take the heat and won’t need tons of watering or maintenance (yay!). Wanted some big rocks for interest & to anchor this new section of soon-to-become-native grassland. Went by last Sat afternoon around 3pm & they were already closed. Bummer for me. Did some scouting around for landscaping boulders at other area stone yards & made a beeline back to these guys on Thursday. Mike was exceptionally kind & helpful!! Picked out the boulders with his design advice. Prices were SO GOOD, also got a boulder for an area near driveway. They were delivered this morning by the friendliest couple of guys who took excellent care placing them without tearing up the yard. Excellent customer service on the front end, fantastic prices, excellent customer service on the delivery end!! Thanks y’all! LOVE the improved look of this yard already!

Unfortunately I had a really bad experience with this company. They came to open my pool and couldn’t finish. We asked them to come back and finish and they line itemed every charge known to human kind. Not only did they charge the standard fee of $300 to open the pool, they charged additional labor costs AND for every chemical. They put a line item in of $75 for shock. It’s $17 on average to shock a 35,000 gallon pool - less if you buy in bulk (like they do). That was 1 of 4 or 5 chemicals they upcharged for with CRAZY margins. They probably made over $100 in profit just on the chemicals. How can you justify that behavior and do that to your customers? Every single thing is an up charge that they don’t tell you about it in advance. You just wind up with a massive bill and questions.

Sango Pool installed my pool in 2020, and it turned out great - on time and on budget. They have helped me learn all I need to know about taking care of my pool, and they are always friendly to me when I have questions or bring my water in to be tested. They open and close my pool for me every year, too - they make all of the processes convenient!

The fella there that works. He was awesome. He took care of me and he was a kind individual helpful and he was willing to take up the slack for an old guy
