Contractors Stone Supply

Reasonable prices but bare bones customer service. I wouldn't recommend unless your a contractor. It's hard to get info from them. I couldn't find anyone that knew anything other than prices. The driver delivered the materials without asking me where to put it.

First time there today and it was a great experience. It wasn’t your basic box store setup. Had to navigate the yard a little. There was 5-6 other customers there and things were tight. A few short minutes later I found a place to park and started looking around. I’m a real novice when it comes to landscaping. I wanted a large piece of flat rock to make into a couple steps in the garden. I found a piece I wanted but really had no clue how to pay. I start walking towards the central building and I hear a honk come from behind me. It was an employee trying to get my attention. Come to find out, the guy’s on the fork lifts zooming around me the whole time I was exploring the yard are there to weigh the pieces I want. I show him the piece and he zooms off with it. At the point I still don’t know anything on how much this is going to cost me. I could have just picked out a 200 dollar piece of stone for all I know. After the fork lift driver weighs it he scribbles something down on a piece of paper and hands it to me. I now see a product code and what I assume was a weight. I ask him how much it was and after a little quick math in his head he tells me 12 dollars. I smile and thank him because something half this size at the big store I just priced at 17. I take my little sticky note and make my way to the northwest side of the building which I now see is the office. A very friendly and skillful multitasker (she was able to help me and manage the phone) helped me at the counter. The final price 9 dollars and I’m thrilled about it. I go back outside and the fork lift driver and I man handle it into the suv. This place was nothing I expected but everything needed. I highly suggest taking a look here next time you are looking to add stone to a project.

Good supply and quality of stone. Good service and prices reasonable.

Updating review. Their service is good, but they have nearly doubled their price on certain rock. And I definitely got shorted with the amount of rock that I received, last time. Needless to say, found another supplier that's $35 cheaper per yard.
