As a landscape contractor constantly buying material and waiting on invoices ect.. my phone had died the other day so I couldn’t move money over to my checking account and my card declined! The lady on the front desk could have easily told me to unload the trailer and come back… but she didn’t! She trusted me to call her back and pay over the phone. I appreciated this a lot, as we were in a rush that day.

I went in this morning to order stone, hoping it would get delivered tomorrow. Nope, Alexis had it to my house within 30 minutes. Turns out my calculations were way off and I needed twice as much as I initially ordered. So I called back at about 4:10, 20 minutes before they closed on a Friday, again hoping for a delivery tomorrow. They were able to sneak one last delivery out for me same day, since tomorrow (Saturday) was booked up! (I will add that I live about 3 miles from their yard, which definitely helped with the quick end of day delivery).

Had a small project for driveway and walkway. Mike (Jr) consulted with me at the project, completed and came back to fix a change to project. He did a great job, was very respectful, showed up on time and completed the job neatly and on-time. Fantastic. Thanks Mike Rex

Mike Tarter Jr runs a remarkable local business. Beyond providing affordable local topsoil, mixed aggregate, path stones and more... he's an ARTIST behind the wheel of a bobcat. His grading and maneuvering skills leaves you with a yard or driveway both aesthetic but also purposeful. Can't reccomend enough!

Truly outstanding! These guys are really artists. I don't know where to begin with my praise for Mike's, but I will try to keep this to the point. My wife and I contracted Mike and his outstanding, talented crew (Rich, TJ and Mikey) to do a retaining wall and a pool surround. Despite the terrible August weather, they struggled through week after week to see the project to completion. We are so happy with their work and with their professionalism and flexibility, that we have signed on with them for 3 more separate projects - a driveway, an outdoor fireplace, and a small patio. Not only were Mike's fees highly competitive, but the work that they do is extremely impressive to watch. My wife and I were not entirely sure what we wanted exactly, but Mike was very helpful and flexible in trying to create something beautiful that we would love. We even asked to change a significant aspect of the project midway and Mike went right along with it suggesting an option that turned out incredible. Rich, TJ, and Mikey went out of their way time and time again to keep the project neat and to keep the results at the standard of excellence that they have set for themselves - even redoing a section that they were not happy with even though we thought it was fine. I will most definitely be calling Mike again for additional projects and I strongly recommend them to others.
