Concrete Creations (Mulch & Rock)

I highly recommend Concrete Creations for gravel delivery! They have excellent choices of stone, and very friendly and informative service. I had a bad experience with another materials company that sells gravel by the yard, but only delivered the amount of “yards” in tons. I ordered the same amount of material from CC, and received 3 times the amount compared to the other company. Theresa from CC explained that you should only purchase gravel from companies that weigh it out to make sure you have the right amount in tons. The delivery went so smoothly! They kept me updated with an ETA, and the driver was so friendly and even took his time maneuvering his truck to help spread out the load a bit. As a small business owner, I really appreciate quality service. I will be using Concrete Creations for any materials in the future.

Very cool place with lots of interesting items! We were visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this store and I'm so glad we did. Prices were what I'd consider fair for the concrete statues of animals and such, most of which are nicely painted. I wound up getting several small-medium ones but, had I been in my truck vs. my little car, I would have come away with several larger ones! They had the best selection of different animal statues, birdbaths, benches, and fountains I've ever seen at one place. The metal art inside the building is just as varied as the concrete stuff outside. We ended up with an awesome whirly-gig, too. Store employees and owner/manager were super helpful and friendly, available to help you but left you alone to browse. I'll definitely be back when I'm in VA Beach!

I used to buy mulch by the bag and finally ordered bulk mulch from Concrete Creations. They delivered quickly and on time and at a great price! So easy and convenient. Just ordered mulch for my parent's house in Virginia Beach as well! Highly recommend!

Brought home a life-size realistic concrete dog to put in the front yard. Painted it, waiting for it to dry. Weighs around 90 lbs. They have a very nice selection of nautical, marine life, animals, and many other items on display inside and outside.

Bought a concrete molded bird bath stand to use with a birdbath I hand crafted out of ceramic. I was unsure if it would work or not and turned out it wasn't going to work for my application. I asked to return it just a few days later and was told I could not return it. Apparently all sales are final I was told by the owner. This was unused. Very disappointing I am stuck with a concrete pedestal I can not use that I paid $70 for. A retail location with a zero return policy seems like a bad business model to me. Store did have unique and cool items but my experience was very disappointing. No willingness to help at all. Not even a return offer to exchange for something that could work. There is also no mention of all sales final on the receipt or anywhere I noticed in plain sight when purchasing. I do not recommend doing business here.
