I was very disappointed with the service I received from Esther. I went in asking for dirt and rock on a non busy week day. I gave her the exact cubic feet I needed to fill. Explaining that I wanted to fill with dirt and then a thin layer of gravel at the top. I asked her how much dirt I would need to fill the area. I gave her exact cubic feet. She then told me that was my job to figure out and made this a super hard and difficult. Kept telling me the prices and asking how much I wanted. I then made a guess of how much dirt I needed and went up to get the scoops of dirt and the man filling my trailer was helpful. I then had to stop back at her desk to get a refund as I ordered too much dirt off of my guess. She was very much put out by my request to refund me. I am not sure why Esther works at the front if she can’t help with amounts you need or can’t refund transactions. I then returned to get rock and I did walk in 5 minutes to closing time as I wasn’t aware of closing time and as soon as I walked in she said we are closed. Another employee followed me out saying what did you need today and I said I didn’t need anything. I then went down the road to Carson’s and told the lady how much cubic feet I had and she said drive on down they will Load you up. It was the crazy to see the difference in service on people that know verses people that don’t. Esther could be in training and I understand that but I would think if that is the case she could be kind enough to ask for assistance. Maybe I could have googled the answer I needed but she made me feel stupid for not knowing how much I needed. When I went to Carson and they helped me by knowing it made me feel like that was a service this type of place should be able to provide. I will go to Carson’s from now on. The short distance is worth it to me to work with people that aren’t so ignorant they can’t ask for assistance if it’s needed.

Stopped in to buy a replacement shrub after being at a nursery down the road where we couldn't get helped. At Site One, an employee readily offered to help us. Explained about the different varieties, and loaded the shrub for us. He even recommended that we go with a smaller size to save some $. Clerk checked us out quickly and efficiently. Saved $350 over the competition! Highly recommend!

If you unload here, be prepared that they first load and unload all their trucks and they don't care how long you are here. They are simply not very nice people. I wasted a whole day unloading

So far pretty good! I'll have more to say when my trees get going.
