Know what to expect. That is the lesson we have learned. My neighbor had six pine trees cut down. My wife and the neighbor were told the process would make a mess. However, neither my neighbor, my wife or myself ever envisioned it would basically eliminate her lawn and ruin a good portion of mine adjacent to her property. I discussed this with the owner, but he felt he had made it clear to my neighbor and wife. My wife told him later the words he used did not convey the extend of what most residential home owners would expect. I personally told him he needs to show pictures for future jobs of what people can expect. Something an earlier review posted and to which I wish we had seen prior to the work. Yes, the price was likely cheaper, but the amount of money and time needed now to improve the landscape makes it at least a wash. Let alone the time it will take in years before the lawn is restored as before the work. So just know what to expect and that should reduce any stress. Also, when it is said the stumps will be cut to the ground, that doesn't mean the physical ground if your tree is surrounded by pine needles. You might want to remove them around the trunk so that you are not left with a stump a foot or so above ground.

Had to have 2 trees (100'+ tall) cut at my lake house that were very close to the house. Nobody wanted to touch them because they couldn't get buckets trucks back there. Alfonza accepted the challenge. They had to climb the trees and cut it up in small blocks and get them to ground without hitting the house. The crew that Alfonza sent out to do the job were very professional and courteous. These guys were the best I've ever seen. They cleaned up afterwards and left the yard as clean or better when they got there. If I ever need anymore trees cut Alfonza is who I'm calling.

I selected Alfonza’s for removing seven (7) trees in my back yard and trimming three (3) trees in my front yard. I was very skeptical about paying a $100 quote fee in which I had to call their office again because I wasn’t called or visited within the suspense stated after paying their quote. Mind you, other tree companies contacted will give you a free quote. The work was done but with some very serious concerns on my part. My yard (both) my backyard and side yard (Empire Zoysia grass) were torn up by their equipment tracking through my yard (see pictures attached). I agreed to the work after the owner showed me pictures of his equipment but did not think part of my yard would be damaged. I was given a solution after the damage (after the fact) and I thought this should have been explained (in great detail) before the work. The owner only delivered me a load of top soil that me and my wife had to place on my yard and wasn’t offered any assistance with placing this top soil on my lawn to fix the tracked gaps in my yard. I will have future work on trees in my yard but will choose more wisely next time. CUSTOMER BEWARE of this company’s negative tactics.

I had a very good experience. They were very polite and helpful. The delivery was made on my schedule, and it showed up early in the two hour window. The driver called to let me know he was on his way. When the 3cu yds of mulch arrived the driver placed it right the middle of the tarp I had spread. I’m very satisfied, and I will use them again.

My sister contracted this company to clean up the excessive fall debris in her large yard. Pampas grass and some shrubs were pruned. The yard looks great.
