Probably gonna avoid this one if I can. I went to pick up 3000lbs and was told they will only do it until the suspension is loaded. The most they would give me was 1400 lbs. This is the sole reason for taking my 8mpg truck out and now it has to be another trip. Not here though... Suspension didn't even squat..

Their blasting shakes my neighborhood and house all the time. It just happened 9/21/23 at 11:28AM. Shook my house like a giant had it. It happens all the time have complained over a dozen times. I live in the city limits its insane they are blasting so hard it shakes my windows and has cracked my foundation in multiple places.

I was having a concrete pad poured today. The crew needed more gravel than expected and so I had to hurry and call around for an additional delivery. My regular gravel guy was out of town so I called Vulcan. I told Lewis (I think that was his name) that I needed 5 tons of gravel on location around noon (I called around 9:30am) and he was very nice and said they could do it by that time. I went to the site and as noon came and went, I wanted to make sure they were still on their way since the concrete was in route. I called dispatch again and got a different guy (can't recall the name.) I told him I was just checking on the status of the load. I was polite and not upset and simply told him what timeframe I'd been given this morning. He got very nasty with me and said "This ain't pizza hut, you can't get it in 30 minutes or less." That ticked me off. I told him, again, but in firmer tones, that I was TOLD they could deliver at that time. He continued to be rude, saying I shouldn't have been quoted that timeframe. I told him I needed the gravel as promised. End of discussion. He finally 'did his job' and checked to see where the driver was. A nice lady from the quarry called me back and informed me that the truck had just left and would be there soon. Basically, two decent folks helped me when I was in a bind but this one guy, on duty around lunchtime, earned them 3 stars. You don't TALK to people that way when doing business. I've never spent $220+ at pizza hut, either. Have a chat with your dispatch.

Best place for Aggregates; super friendly! Stop by the office before entering and if you can't cover and safely haul your rock don't go!
