Martin Marietta - Salem Stone Quarry

Needed to top dress a private road and two associated driveways that hadn’t had any stone added in about 30 years. I’ve graded driveways and spread rock, but was never the guy that ordered it before. Got the base graded back to the right shape and called to get rock to do the top dressing. Called Martin-Marietta mostly because they were the closest quarry. Figured I needed 78 tons and I’m not an expert on the different types of rock available. Pam took the time to discuss what exactly my situation was and help figure out exactly what I needed to accomplish the job right, verified my calculations on quantity needed, and arrange transport since I had the equipment to spread it but not to haul it. Rock showed up on time and was exactly what I needed for a good price. Pam’s patience spending 20 minutes on the phone with my non-expert self and checking behind me on calculations without my asking her to do so was greatly appreciated.
