Needed an economical solution for grass seed for my yard since I missed the aerate and seed window in October. Saw that mulch masters who I first used in 2000 for my first home (Multiple truckloads over the years ) had grass seed and fertilizer as I drove by. They had multiple signs lining the street. I called three times including on the way to make sure they didn’t close by 4 PM and they were very nice. Problem is when I paid they charge me $68/bag vs the $62.50 I was quoted three times plus a 2.9% charge for using my debit card (I set that one). I wouldn’t have left this review had they Honored what I had been told multiple times and didn’t mention I needed to be a contractor or just just given me five or six dollars back but for a total of $75 walking out of there I could’ve just picked up a bag at Ace Hardware and I had a namebrand seed. Or I could’ve lied to him and told him I was actually a landscaper. I’m sure they’re not gonna shut the place down because I don’t buy mulch or anything there again, but it just put a bad taste in my mouth. Otherwise, the people are nice enough And the staff helpful.

The lady I spoke with was honest and stated clearly that she didn't think the crew would be good at spreading a load of crusher run over a driveway. I mistakenly made the assumption that I would need to smooth it out. I was wrong. Two truck loads resulted in several large piles, and there are still some 350' of driveway that have not been touched. Lesson learned.

I was hauling some trash to landfill next door and spontaneously decided to get a cubic yard of 50/50 for the upcoming yard project. Once they loaded it to the trailer, I noticed that my trailer tire is really low on air. "Great, I need to go to gas station air up." Paid for product, and when I was returning, Keith was standing next to my trailer. "Can you please loop around, I need to air up your tire sir". I didn't think they would have compressor in there, but small gestures like that from businesses make a huge difference. I've been shopping there for the past 17 years, and it has always been a great experience.
