Boring Bark

Great place for landscaping and gardening products. I've purchased their stone, brick, and decorative gravel. They've delivered hemlock mulch to my home. Most recently, I've purchased their 7-way soil for raised beds. I'm very pleased with all the products. What I like best, tho, are the staff. Friendly, helpful, and fast. Tip: buy a coffee and doughnut to eat while you browse.

I have bought firewood in the past from them, which I had no issue with the wood itself, but every time I called, there was a new price on delivery. Now it’s so expensive to get delivered to Brightwood, so I decided to stop by and pick up some myself. Well, this is the worse wood I got from them, it’s wet and not burning!!! I’m not a newbie on burning wood in my wood stove, but I started to questioned myself. I had friends trying to burn this wood and same thing, it’s just too wet!! When I called to tell them, they didn’t even try to make it right! I picked up some wood from Mt. Scott Fuel Co today and OMG, what a difference!!! I have no issue keeping my fire going!! I’d not buy anything from Boring Bark again, you lost me as a customer.

I came up 1/4 yd short on my drainage project, so I took my plastic totes to BB and they gladly sold me 1/4 yd of drain rock and accommodated my need to fill individual totes. I was able to get in and out of BB in less than 30 minutes and finish my project! The employees are both helpful and cheerful; great combination! The drain rock was clean, uniform, and matched the rock already in use. My next trip to BB will be to purchase several yards of bark.

Great place to buy a pre cut Christmas tree 🎄 Nobles, and Doug Firs, at comparable prices nicely trimmed. No short trees, everything was 6' and over, but they may have already sold out of the shorties. If you buy a tree, you get a free bag of coffee, bonus! They also have great muffins, and other baked goods for sale. Nice staff, and they will trim the tree trunk, and load it for you. I will definitely consider going back next year
