*A very nice and helpful woman is helping us potentially resolve this (and agrees that 3/4" process should be 90% rocks, not 90% sand) so hopefully this problem will be fixed in the coming days. Update -- it wasn't fixed. Their best offer was to drop off additional rocks, but we're just a regular house without space for extra rocks and we'd still have to move the existing rocks so it would just double the work. After manually sifting all the sand and rocks, I'd say it was 80% sand and 20% rocks at best. We ordered several yards of 3/4" process based on the samples of rock available at the business. The sample bin was 95% large (3/4") rocks and a tiny bit of dust at the bottom. We spoke with a woman at the desk based on that sample and explained to her that we wanted relatively large stones because the rocks would be used in a dog yard and we didn't want small pebbles or sand that would get washed away or accidentally picked up. The woman told us that the process would work for that and said that it's "rocks and a little bit of dust from the rocks," and said nothing about large quantities of dust or sand. When the rocks arrived they were almost ENTIRELY dust. We basically have a pile of dust in our driveway, which is basically unusable for the purposes we explained at the time of order and completely inconsistent with the sample at the business, with the way the desk woman described it, and with what we requested. The business offered to deliver a different type of rock to our house (hence the 2 stars instead of 1) but could not remove the pile of sand. We have no means of removal for this sand, so we are going to have to keep what we got and use it despite the fact that it will cause issues and was not what we ordered. The business needs to have more accurate samples at the business for customers, be more helpful about finding customers what they actually need rather than misrepresenting what their products are, and consider not only replacing incorrect materials but removing them from the site when issues arise. We will not be buying from this company again.

Great place! South Windsor Stone Landscape stone, sand, topsoil, pavers.. Right off a main road and you don't have to drive through an industrial quarry to get there. Drive up and they load you up or have it delivered. Oh yeah the do winter snow plowing as well! Definitely Recommend!
