Bill Schultz recently completed two rock retaining walls at my home totaling more than 200 linear feet. He used both 22” and 32” stone and created nothing short of pure artistry. My family and I have been in the construction business for generations and we all agree that Bill is one of the finest, if not the best excavation operator / stone wall builders we have ever witnessed. Since completion, random travelers have been pulling into my driveway to ask “who completed the work”. I’m considering placing a sign out front with his number on it... When searching for a professional who could replace our decrepit retaining wall, we were very fortunate to have found Bill Shultz. We very quickly realized he is a master in his field and runs an excavator like an extension of himself, with expertise and finesse. Bill is one of the finest men we have met. He is honest. He takes great pride in his craftmanship. He does the job at hand both competently and to completion. As he placed large, rectangular stones over a 40 foot run, they were placed with artistic precision. They look incredible. Bill went out of his way to make sure the entire driveway was graded perfectly so the drain path led correctly to the stones and to the newly installed french drains. Additionally, Bill went the extra mile by replacing some decaying railroad ties in the driveway, moving the un-used stones to my desired section of our yard, and re-utilizing the dirt graded out of the driveway to level off yet another area in the yard. Bill is a remarkable man with integrity and a great personality. You would be wise to select Bill to provide stone work services for you, and I have no doubt you will then recommend him to all your friends. Bill created a beautiful stone wall on my property and I continually get compliments from neighbors and people stop and tell me the stone wall transformed my property. We are happy with the work Bill did recently at our home. One project was building retaining walls along our driveway with large rocks. The other project was adding steps going up a slope in our back yard. Bill was super nice to work with and listened to our ideas on the work we wanted him to do.
