Loved my experience at Crystal Landscaping and even happier with how clean my yard looks! Shane was super helpful and kind, offered golf carts to drive around on site, and provided great prices with all of the install materials that I needed to complete my project. They delivered extremely quickly, confirmed drop off day-of via text, and the driver was polite and professional. I’ll definitely be returning for future projects!
Really friendly customer service experience - their new trainee was super friendly, they even had a “greeter” old timer dog who was 16 1/2 killing around the place to welcome people - and the lady who helped me with my order (can’t remember her name, but she had 4 or 5 chihuahuas) was really kind and accommodating. The delivery driver was also super nice. You can get mulch anywhere, but you can’t always get nice service. Crystal did a great job and I’ll be back.
Shane was absolutely incredible! I went in with a rough idea of what I wanted and Shane helped find the right materials, explained next steps and gave tips for how to make the area look the way I wanted. I had my materials delivered quickly and efficiently to my driveway! I never could have done any of this work without the help of Shane! He was so helpful and kind. Now my backyard looks like a professional did it! Thanks Crystal Landscaping!
Product Review: 80/20 Topsoil I recently purchased a cubic yard of 80/20 topsoil from this supplier, intending to use it for lawn application. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Upon returning home and inspecting the product, I discovered that it was filled with small rocks, making it unsuitable for spreading on my lawn. After browsing through reviews of similar products from this supplier, I learned that the material is screened on a 3/8-inch screen, which allows for larger particles to remain in the soil. This crucial detail was never communicated to me when I inquired about the product’s suitability for lawn use. I spent nearly seven hours sifting the material through a number four sieve to make it usable, which was a significant and unexpected inconvenience. Before purchasing, I specifically asked the representative if this topsoil would be appropriate for a lawn application. She assured me it would be, highlighting that the soil contained 20% compost. Unfortunately, that assurance was misleading, and the soil quality was not as expected. In hindsight, I should have asked more detailed questions, but I trusted the product description and the representative’s recommendation. I would advise others to be cautious when purchasing this product if you’re looking for topsoil to use on a lawn. Make sure you fully understand what “80/20 topsoil” entails in terms of particle size and composition to avoid a frustrating and labor-intensive experience like mine.
I called to ask if they sold b stock or blemished pavers for a project. I mentioned I used to sell pavers in California (after explaining what b stock was ) The rep Ava or Eva thought thought she had put me on hold, proceeded to ask about them to a co-worker, after mentioning I had lived in California I was rudely laughed at and overheard them saying "makes sense". I don't care what you think about other states but keep your personal bias out of your business. Hopefully you all learn how to treat people regardless of where they used to live.
