Valley Landscaping

Where do I start with this business? I contacted them about a 'split job' meaning we wanted tree rings this year around 3 trees and our mailbox and then replacement of shrubs and house edging next spring after a large home project was completed. Their quote(s) were at least 20% more than others but I said okay anyway as I figured maybe their quality was better. The attached image says it all, they installed massive rings that far outsize the trees themselves they look like arbor clown shoes. The dye job was terrible and the crack appeared within 5 weeks. After a couple attempts to reach out, someone came out to the house looked at it said there is 'nothing wrong' with the workmanship. Told me it's our fault we haven't been watering the lawn enough and the cracks are expected (untrue but unfortunately due to the heat our level of watering is just not enough on our South facing lawn). Reiterated that they don't guarantee their work. I put off doing this for over a year mainly because my husband warned me about something like this happening an lack of accountability I guess he was right. All I have to say is karma sucks and being a small business it's easy to ride the highs when you have more business coming in than you know what to do with, but when things simmer down it's the customer referrals that will always matter. I am heartbroken, every person comments on the terrible look of these things and is baffled by our experience. Clearly the owner cares very little about their business and how it is perceived. If you want quality for your money stay away.

If the people who drive their trucks are any indication of the type of business they are, count me out. Thursday, May 9th, 2024, driving down 32nd Ave towards the interstate around 7am, a man in a newer Ford Super Duty with license plate beginning with 752 was weaving in and out of traffic, cutting multiple vehicles off, just so he could be first on the interstate. Once getting on the interstate, he is exhibiting the same behavior, weaving, tailgating, on top of flipping people off. I definitely don't have a degree in business, but I don't think that's how you conduct it nor would I want that person driving a very expensive truck with my business name plastered all over it. Do better.

We re-did our curbing around our house. This time we decided to get the stone delivered since hauling it with a trailer was a pain the last time. The rock arrived on time, and they were able to get it into my backyard instead of my driveway for easier loading. Whole delivery took seconds to complete compared to hours of lifting bag after bag of rock from the trailer. The price was excellent too honestly I don't know why anyone would ever buy from the hardware stores this is far easier and pretty much the same price.

Huge shout out to all the individuals that worked on our landscaping project. Everyone that we were in contact with throughout the project listened, responded and was extremely kind. When the crews left, they cleaned up after themselves to the point you wouldn’t even know they were there and they were respectful to our neighbors and their property (which I know can be hard when all the homes are so close together). Brett went above and beyond our expectations; he kept in contact, followed up and visited the job site multiple times. He leads a good crew! Thank you Valley Landscaping!

These guys are second to none! Brett, Bryce, and their team are a great bunch. They have done different things for me at my house over the years and ALWAYS do great work. Today they were over to level the ground for my pool, and as always do a great job and their cleanup in the street and in the yard is amazing. If you are looking for any type of landscaping or services that they offer, I would highly recommend them as you will not be disappointed!
