I have a B2B relationship with Tulsa Topsoil and have had good experiences to date. Shawn is responsive to my inquiries and willing and able to meet my scheduling needs for projects when given a couple days notice. Prices are in line with others in my experience. Soils can vary wildly from any supplier, so I recommend scheduling a visit to their facility to inspect any soil delivery prior to purchase.
We bought garden mix spring of 23 from the 193rd location. The soil is filled with parasites that eat the root of your plants stunting the growth and eventually killing them. We lost over 200.00 in plants,100.00 in garden mix and added cost to buy bug killer. They are not willing to take full responsibility and refunded only 60.00 last yr. even after showing them the video of parasites. Here we are 2024 and we still have the same issue. I've requested a refund for all the expenses and have received no response. Just praying it doesn't spread before we can get rid of them. The little white things floating are the parasites, I couldn't upload the video. The plants wouldn't grow anymore than that last yr. and I have several flowering bushes that didn't come back this yr.
Beware!!!!! I am so disappointed in the ‘Garden Soil’ that we purchased from them. I found glass, metal, rope, a SYRINGE, plastic, etc. in the soil. What in the world!! My son was playing in the soil, right next to the glass!!! I will NEVER purchase anything from Tulsa soil again. If I could give it no stars, I would.
Shawn is great! Responsive and shows up with a good attitude- always a pleasure to work with. 20,000 pounds of gravel and sand later and my project is complete! I'll be heading here to check out the compost when it's time for that as well.
I’ve been here several times and have been satisfied with both the service and quality of topsoil. Gave them 3 stars instead of 5 because today when I arrived to get a load about 5:45. The dozer driver told me they were closed, I said I thought they closed at 6 and he said “not on Saturday, we close at 3 or 4”. Even though the sign right in front says mon-sat 9-6. Then he got in the bulldozer and started screaming and cussing, not sure if was at me or just because at this point in his life he didn’t think he would be shoveling dirt for a living, but I probably will take my dirt business somewhere else.
